Job Description:

Senior Tax Manager job in Ipswich. Lead the provision of personal tax advisory work for a diverse, loyal, and growing client portfolio. Opportunity for progression to Director or Partner.

Job Responsibility:

Lead advisory work for a significant portfolio of personal tax clients, including tax compliance and planning projects
Monitor all commercial aspects of portfolio management for your selection of clients, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
Build trusted client relationships, proactively handling queries and problem solving
Oversee junior team members, including workflow management, reviewing work, and providing training
Support the compliance team with the preparation of computations where needed
Interpret changes to taxation legislation and provide trusted advisory to clients and colleagues
Champion your own professional development, undertaking regular training opportunities
Support business development strategies, including preparing proposals, actively seeking out opportunities, and assisting with marketing initiatives

Requirements:

CTA, ACCA, or ACA qualified, or equivalent, with impressive experience in UK practice
Qualified by extensive experience would also be considered
A proven track record of autonomously managing a portfolio in practice
Excellent communication skills and sound attention to detail
A proactive approach to problem-solving
Self-motivated and highly organised
A team player able to work closely with senior team members
Constructive support to junior team members
A can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn from an experienced team
