Our Finance Team at Kleinanzeigen has amazoing individuals from different nationalities, reflecting our commitment to diversity and inclusion. As a Senior Manager Tax (d/f/m), you will lead end-to-end tax projects for Kleinanzeigen, reporting directly to the Head of Accounting and Controlling. This hybrid role combines remote work with office presence in Berlin-Charlottenburg and is also available on a part-time basis, with maximum flexibility around your working hours.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be a primary contact for all German tax matters (CIT, Trade Tax, VAT)
  • Manage all current and deferred taxes, tax risks, audits, and projects in Germany
  • Prepare quarterly tax reporting packages
  • Review German tax declarations and returns, currently prepared by our tax compliance partner
  • Support our leadership team in ad-hoc tax-related requests
  • Provide tax accounting support with the Controlling department and external BPO
  • Coordinate the relationship with local tax service providers

Requirements:

  • Academic background in Finance or related field
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in German tax, e.g. Big4 background or inhouse tax manager
  • Understanding of German GAAP
  • Certified Tax Advisor or willingness to obtain certification
  • Fluent in German and English
