Job Description

Our client, a large and respected accounting firm, is looking for a Senior Tax Manager/Principal for HNWI in their Tax services area. In this role, you’ll oversee strategy and compliance for complex federal and multi-state tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, S-corporations, trusts, estates, and gift tax filings.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide exceptional customer service to high-net-worth (HNW) individuals, multi-generational families, trusts, estates, etc.
  • Consult and offer comprehensive tax planning to meet client goals
  • ensuring clients are making well informed financial decisions
  • Oversee and review complex federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-corporations, trusts, estates, and gift tax filings (Forms 1040, 1041, 1065, 709, 706)
  • Ensure tax strategies are compliant while reducing liabilities and optimizing financial outcomes
  • Represent clients in federal and state tax audits
  • Grow and lead a successful team of tax professionals and staff accountants

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years’ experience in public accounting
  • Demonstrated expertise with high net worth and relaxed entity taxation
  • Experience managing teams and workflows
  • CPA
  • Bachelor's in accounting
  • Master’s in Taxation a plus
