Job Description

BDO's Corporate Tax practice sits at the heart of our Tax function and plays an important role in the wider business. Our team works collaboratively with others across BDO, offering clients in the UK and overseas expert advice and solutions that help them overcome their challenges. You will work as part of our Not for Profit tax team to provide corporation tax advisory and compliance services to a wide range of clients from across the Not for Profit Sector, including charities, housing associations, education providers and public sector bodies.

Requirements

  • In depth, up to date, knowledge of taxation with specialist knowledge and the ability to deal with complex tax issues.
  • Experience of dealing with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of clients.
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of clients including control of client take on and engagement, billings, and identification of opportunities to improve recoveries, together with cash collection.
  • Ability to provide Tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of clients using resource from a shared service team or via technology tools.
  • An understanding of potential risks to the Firm in relation to the Firm's quality control procedures
  • Experience of leading complex projects.
  • CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent

Nice to have

Experience of working with Not for Profit organisations would be an advantage but is not a requirement provided you are enthusiastic about working in the sector and keen to learn more.
