Job Responsibility:
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for partnerships, corporations, individuals, and trusts
Handle tax projections, estimates, and extensions
Support tax planning initiatives and special projects
Assist with tax notices, audits, and correspondence with taxing authorities
Conduct tax research and stay current on evolving tax regulations
Collaborate closely with senior tax leadership and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
5+ years of tax experience, ideally with exposure to high-net-worth individuals and trusts
CPA or actively pursuing CPA strongly preferred
Background in public accounting, family office, or private investment environments
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage deadlines
Comfortable working in a small, team-oriented tax department
Nice to have:
Experience with real estate-related entities is a plus
Experience with tax and accounting platforms (CCH, Engagement tools, Excel/Microsoft 365, and similar systems) is helpful
