Glean is seeking a Chartered Accountant (CA) with minimum 4 years of post qualification experience in Direct Tax / Indirect Tax (or both), with a strong preference for Direct Tax, to join our Finance team as a Senior Tax Analyst.This role will support end-to-end corporate tax compliance, tax provisioning and controls for India ,US and International operations, working closely with Finance, India Controllership, external advisors, and global stakeholders. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate tax filings, robust documentation, and adherence to our internal tax control framework.
Job Responsibility:
Own India corporate tax compliance – tax computations, ITR‑6, tax audit support, advance tax and basic transfer pricing for the India entity
Support US and other international tax compliance – data preparation, reconciliations and cross‑border/intercompany support for US and non‑India/non‑US entities
Handle indirect tax compliances – GST (GSTR‑1, 3B, 9/9C) and TDS (non‑salary) workings, filings and GL vs return reconciliations
Assist with tax provisioning and deferred tax – prepare/support current and deferred tax workings and help reconcile tax balances with financial statements
Maintain strong tax controls and documentation – Tax GL vs return reconciliations, workpapers, control evidence and audit‑ready files in line with the tax control framework
Collaborate with Finance, Controllership and external advisors – coordinate data, resolve queries, manage calendars and ensure timely, accurate filings across jurisdictions
Requirements:
CA qualified
Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience
Strong experience in corporate Direct Tax (India) – computations, ITR‑6, tax audit and related reconciliations
Working knowledge of GST (GSTR‑1/3B/9/9C, ITC reconciliations) and TDS (non‑salary)
Comfort working with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite), tax portals and Excel-based reconciliations
Good understanding of tax workpapers, controls, documentation and audit requirements
Strong ownership, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
