Job Description:

CVS Health is seeking a tax professional with the ability to navigate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a large and complex organization to support tax technology, compliance, and financial reporting.

Job Responsibility:

Assist in supporting and maintaining readiness for the tax department’s Corptax software system to facilitate ongoing use in preparation of income tax provision and compliance deliverables
Document tax technology requirements, processes, and procedures
Support ongoing projects and business initiatives and assist with special projects as requested
Prepare U.S. federal and state income tax returns/extension/estimated tax calculations for assigned subsidiaries including both Corporate and partnership entities
Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 for assigned subsidiaries

Requirements:

Minimum 2 year of experience in corporate tax or in public accounting
Tax provision and compliance experience in corporate tax

Nice to have:

Broad understanding and experience with corporate or partnership federal and state income tax
CPA or CPA candidate preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, i.e., Excel spreadsheet
Experience with Corptax system is strong plus
Strong accounting, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
High-level of energy, enthusiasm and desire to grow your career
Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and tactfully, both verbally and in writing
Ability to work productively with a high degree of independence and with accuracy and high attention to detail
Experience with S4 HANA or similar ERP systems
