Job Description

We are recruiting for a senior tax advisor to deliver high quality advise to a varied client base. The role is office based but will require travel as and when require to meet with clients. This is a senior level tax role and will combine hands-on technical tax work, advisory and mentoring.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver tax advisory projects including inheritance tax planning, capital gains tax planning and compliance, VAT advice, Stamp duty land tax advice
  • Manage all HMRC enquiries and investigates
  • Work closely with managers and partners to ensure technically accurate and commercially sound advice is delivered
  • Review tax returns prepared by junior staff
  • Mentor junior staff members
  • Maintain and build client relationships
  • Keep up to date with all tax legislations and met CPD requirements

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified
  • Previous experience working within practice
  • Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Strong technical tax knowledge
  • Attention to detail
  • A client focused, commercial mindset
