We are looking for an accomplished Senior Tax Accountant to join a client-focused public accounting firm in Florida. Job Responsibility:
Prepare and examine complex tax filings for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts to support accurate and timely compliance
Guide tax planning strategies for high-net-worth clients and business owners by identifying practical approaches aligned with their financial goals
Oversee engagement administration, including billing coordination, invoice management, and progress tracking across assigned client work
Respond to tax authority correspondence, conduct technical tax research, and contribute to advisory assignments that require sound judgment and attention to detail
Strengthen existing client relationships by recognizing additional service needs and introducing value-added solutions when appropriate
Support new business efforts by participating in networking and client development activities that help expand the firm's presence
Work directly with senior leadership on initiatives tied to firm growth, client service strategy, and long-term business development
Build credibility with clients through regular communication, dependable follow-through, and a high standard of service
Requirements:
Active CPA license is required
At least 5 years of public accounting experience with a strong concentration in tax work
Demonstrated background preparing and reviewing tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses
Hands-on experience with annual tax compliance, including individual, partnership, corporate, and trust returns
Knowledge of tax consulting, planning, and research in a client service environment
Ability to manage client relationships effectively while handling multiple priorities and deadlines
Interest in business development and the motivation to grow into a leadership or partner-track opportunity
