Job Description:

This role focuses on supporting tax preparation needs during the busy tax season, requiring expertise in individual and S corporation tax filings. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines while delivering exceptional results.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and review individual tax returns (Form 1040) and S corporation tax returns (Form 1120S)
Utilize Lacerte Tax software to efficiently process and file tax returns
Analyze financial documents and tax-related data
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
Provide guidance on tax-related matters
Stay informed about changes in federal and state tax laws
Deliver regular updates on project progress

Requirements:

Extensive experience in preparing and filing Form 1040 and Form 1120S
Proficiency in using Lacerte Tax software
Minimum of 7 years of direct experience in tax preparation and consulting
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
CPA required
