We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team in Irvine, California. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong expertise in public accounting and corporate tax compliance, who is eager to work on complex, multi-state returns for diverse client groups. The ideal candidate will bring attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a personable approach to client interactions.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and review complex multi-state tax returns for various entity types, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
Handle corporate income tax provisions and filings, including sales and use taxes
Collaborate with clients and their financial teams to provide strategic tax planning and trusted advice
Research and resolve intricate tax issues, offering tailored solutions to meet client needs
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance across all engagements
Manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively to deliver high-quality results
Provide mentorship and guidance to entry-level staff members, supporting their development
Build strong relationships with clients, serving as a reliable and approachable financial advisor
Deliver clear and effective communication while maintaining a personable and relatable demeanor
Support the team in maintaining a culture of excellence and client-focused service

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in public accounting, specializing in corporate tax
Active CPA license is required
Proficiency in preparing and reviewing multi-state tax returns for various entity types
Strong understanding of corporate income tax provisions, sales and use tax compliance
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients and financial teams
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
High level of professionalism, coupled with a personable and approachable attitude
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex tax scenarios
