Job Responsibility

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle: Act as a strategic partner to our hiring managers, guiding them through the entire hiring process from crafting compelling job descriptions to negotiating and closing offers
  • Focus on attracting top technical talent: You will be the primary recruiter for our engineering and product teams in Lisbon, with a keen understanding of the local tech talent market and the ability to find and engage with passive candidates
  • Source and pipeline a diverse pool of candidates: Get creative with your sourcing strategies to identify and attract top-tier tech professionals. You'll build and nurture pipelines for both current and future hiring needs, leveraging platforms beyond LinkedIn
  • Provide a world-class candidate experience: Be a brand ambassador for Aiven, ensuring every candidate has a positive, transparent, and engaging experience from their first touchpoint to their last
  • Collaborate and share knowledge: As part of a small, lean team, you’ll share your expertise with other Talent Partners and hiring managers, advising on market trends, compensation, and best practices
  • Manage additional recruitment needs: While your focus is on tech, you'll be flexible and skilled enough to pick up and manage roles across other business functions as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Talent Partner or Senior Recruiter with a strong track record of hiring for a variety of roles within a fast-paced tech company
  • Deep expertise in technical recruiting with a strong understanding of the software development life cycle and ability to effectively communicate with and evaluate candidates for roles like Software Engineer, Engineering Manager or Product Manager
  • Exceptional sourcing skills, resourceful and creative in finding talent beyond traditional job boards and have a strong network within the Lisbon tech community
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, a trusted advisor to hiring managers and an empathetic and transparent point of contact for candidates
  • A collaborative and autonomous mindset, thrives in a lean team, can manage conflicting priorities, and is comfortable working with ambiguity and minimal supervision
  • Fluency in English is a must
