Job Description:

Our company is seeking a highly experienced Senior Tableau Manager / Lead to support our healthcare analytics environment. This role requires a seasoned professional who is hands-on and able to quickly assimilate into our fast-paced team, focusing on understanding and enhancing our existing dashboards, data models, and reporting priorities while accelerating key analytics initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Rapidly assess and understand the current Tableau architecture, dashboards, and data pipelines in our healthcare analytics environment
  • Stabilize and enhance ongoing healthcare reporting projects, ensuring delivery of actionable insights
  • Lead dashboard optimization and performance tuning, and redesign visualizations to improve usability and impact
  • Collaborate with business, clinical, and IT stakeholders to clarify reporting requirements and prioritize analytics initiatives
  • Ensure data accuracy, alignment with governance frameworks, and adherence to best practices in visualization design
  • Mentor and guide internal analysts, establishing scalable reporting standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Document analytics environments and develop sustainable reporting processes

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in BI/analytics with demonstrable, hands-on enterprise Tableau experience (reporting, dashboards, architecture, administration)
  • Strong background working in healthcare analytics environments (hospital, payer, public health, or healthcare district settings preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage and optimize complex, enterprise-level dashboards and reporting ecosystems
  • Leadership and mentorship experience, with a track record of elevating internal team capabilities
  • Expert-level proficiency with Tableau Desktop, Server, and Tableau Cloud administration
  • Advanced SQL and data modeling skills
  • Experience integrating Tableau with healthcare data sources, such as EHR, ERP, financial, operational, or population health systems
  • Familiarity with data governance, security controls, and role-based data access within healthcare environments
  • Ability to quickly step into partially built analytics environments and deliver structure, speed, and clarity

  • Experience in complex healthcare delivery environments and understanding of clinical, operational, and financial dashboards
