Job Description:

We are seeking a Systems Testing/QA Specialist to lead and organize quality assurance efforts for large-scale enterprise systems. This role is a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, requiring the ability to guide other QA team members while working directly with developers and stakeholders in an Agile environment. You will be responsible for the full testing lifecycle, from defining epics and user stories to executing complex automated and manual test scripts. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Cloud technology, Automated Testing tools, and Relational Databases.

Job Responsibility:

  • Agile Analysis: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop clearly defined epics and user stories. Attend Daily Scrums to provide progress updates and review testing inputs
  • Test Strategy & Leadership: Lead the development of testing strategies and plans for GUI and non-GUI environments. Provide guidance to other QA analysts and oversee system testing activities
  • End-to-End Testing: Document and execute all test plans, cases, and scenarios. This includes systems integration tests, Specialized stress tests, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Automated Testing: Utilize Selenium and/or the MS Power Platform testing tool to create repeatable, efficient test suites. Manage version control and defects within Azure DevOps
  • Technical Alignment: Provide consultation on source-to-target mapping and use SQL to query databases, ensuring data integrity across complex integrations
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure all deliverables align with AODA regulations and ITIL processes for Change/Release Management
  • Knowledge Transfer: Prepare system test documentation, user manuals, and guidelines to support a seamless hand-over to ministry staff

Requirements:

  • 7+ years as a Systems Testing/QA Specialist, with a proven track record of leading large-scale testing implementations
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium or MS Power Platform testing tool
  • Deep knowledge of SDLC, Agile (Scrum), and structured development methodologies
  • Proficiency in Relational Databases and the use of information retrieval packages using SQL
  • Strong analytical problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • ability to communicate complex technical results to Project Managers
