Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist for a 12 month contract in Toronto. This is an onsite role. candidate is required to come in office - 5 days a week

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure the quality, reliability, performance, and security of IT systems through comprehensive testing practices
  • Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts across GUI and non-GUI environments
  • Provide expert guidance on testing strategies, tools, automation approaches, and resource planning
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct functional, integration, system, regression, user acceptance, and specialized testing (e.g., stress, performance, and load tests)
  • Validate system behaviour under various conditions to ensure expected functionality and performance
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Azure DevOps, and collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as OpenText™ UFT, Selenium, SOAP UI, or Postman, and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders throughout the system development lifecycle to clarify requirements and support delivery
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Ensure testing processes adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and AODA accessibility guidelines
  • Maintain thorough documentation of test results, test coverage, defects, and quality metrics
  • Provide input for user documentation, including user guides and release notes

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of QA/System Testing experience on enterprise IT projects
