Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Systems Testing/QA Specialist to lead and organize comprehensive testing efforts for both large and small-scale systems. This role requires a technical expert capable of navigating GUI and non-GUI environments, developing automated test scripts, and collaborating closely with business clients to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide expert advice on testing strategies, tool selection, and resource identification
  • develop comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases
  • Perform functional, non-functional, integration, system, and regression testing across web-based, batch, and client-server systems
  • Conduct positive, negative, exploratory, and boundary testing to validate functionality against user expectations
  • Identify, log, and prioritize defects with clear reproduction steps
  • coordinate with developers for triage and validate subsequent fixes
  • Partner with business clients to facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and ensure solutions meet business requirements
  • Code automated test scripts to produce reusable test cases and utilize DevOps tools for tracking and reporting
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups and sprint planning, while providing regular quality status reports and risk assessments

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in planning and organizing testing efforts for complex systems in diverse environments
  • Demonstrated experience in testing web services, online systems, and batch processing
  • Proficient in DevOps tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps, and experienced with automated testing tools
  • In-depth understanding of all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle and structured testing methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of supporting business clients and meeting strict deadlines
  • Familiarity with AODA regulations, Information Management principles, and object-oriented testing methods is highly desirable
