The Senior Systems Programming Analyst will manage UPS technology assets and enhance system performance. This role requires strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server, PowerShell, and batch scripting. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required. The candidate will provide support for BigFix and Tanium platforms, ensuring operational efficiency across the enterprise.
Job Responsibility:
Full life‑cycle management of UPS technology assets
Evaluation, design, development, testing, maintenance, protection, and support of critical systems
Supports and enhances Open Systems and x86/64‑based architectures
Contributes to performance tuning, capacity planning, risk identification
Implementation of technologies and processes that improve reliability, scalability, and overall system health
BigFix Infrastructure and Application Support
Tanium Infrastructure and Application Support
Performs planning, diagnoses risk and system issues, and takes corrective actions to ensure continuity of operations
Identifies and implements technologies and processes to improve the reliability, efficiency, and availability of the systems environment
Utilizes supplied specifications and standardized tools for work assignments of moderate risk, impact, complexity, and scope
Requirements:
Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Workstation operating systems
Experienced with installing applications and services
Strong experience with batch scripting and PowerShell
Moderate experience with Linux operating systems
Experience with certificates
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Systems Management experience (Software Delivery, Patch Management, Inventory, configuration auditing)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience
