The Infrastructure Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for leading a variety of infrastructure-Storage related operations with respect to SAN, Network attached storage, SDS storage and object storage and engineering activities including the design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead efforts to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned framework, and provide niche skills including code reviews, code enhancements, provide critical problem support to remediate the issues faster, maintain security configurations, develop dashboards, automations, and work with global AI enablement team.
Job Responsibility:
Lead a variety of infrastructure-Storage related operations with respect to SAN, Network attached storage, SDS storage and object storage and engineering activities
Design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team
Ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned framework
Provide niche skills including code reviews, code enhancements, provide critical problem support to remediate the issues faster, maintain security configurations, develop dashboards, automations, and work with global AI enablement team
Create complex project plans, perform impact analyses, solve/work high impact problems/projects, and provide resolution to restore services
Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service
Design testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams, and assist with the automation of repetitive tasks
Provide technical/strategic direction to team members
Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements and update processes and procedures as necessary
Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements
Responsible for applications dealing with the overall operating system
Conduct project related research
Perform hardware capacity forecasting, planning and utilization monitoring
Analyze and apply patches / code upgrade, enhancements and perform management tools upgrades
Apply new technology and process to improve system operation, supportability, recoverability, availability and performance
Collaborate and work to develop technical solutions, plans and configuration, in response to requirements from Business and Application teams
Implement network configurations for storage level replication and support for disaster recovery
Requirements:
12-15 years of relevant experience in a Storage Engineering/Operations role
Sound knowledge of storage hardware and system services
Proficient in Storage platforms like Dell EMC Powermax/Unity, IBM A series storage, Hitachi storage SAN platforms
Proficient in storage software such as solutions enabler, Raid comm, IBM configuration manager, Unisphere U4V, SRM, power path, Open Replicator, Open Migrator, storage virtualization, volume manager, File systems, snapshots, multipath software, CISCO, brocade switches
Strong expertise in design and configuration support for FCIP configurations for storage for replications and performance tuning, and security implementations for storage
