Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer.
Job Responsibility
Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Requirements
4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Provides support for moderately complex technical OS and Hardware Support and Maintenance Activities
Prior experience of handling production support , handling Linux systems is a must
Good understanding of writing Ansible playbooks to simply day to day systems administration work
Develop observability dashboard like Grafana , Splunk & ServiceNow
Troubleshoots network, hardware and software issues using pre-defined guidelines
Knowledge on Infrastructure and Remote Administration of various Infrastructure Devices
Familiar with ticketing and Monitoring tools and Acknowledging the Alerts in time
Familiar with Different Components of Infrastructure like Routers, Switches, Servers, SAN and NAS Devices
Familiar with Infrastructure Service Management Processes (Incident/Change/Problem Management)
Knowledge or Certification in any of the OS Platform
Able to extract the configuration information and Use basic diagnostic tools with Guidance for troubleshooting
Ability to Communicate and Co-ordinate with multiple support teams and business communications
Ability to make quick and accurate decisions, including the appropriate escalation of critical issues
Understand Process and Environments working closely with other senior team members
Develop Skills in Specific domain with help of self paced, Instructor led training and mentoring from team members
Technical Support and Working Experience in any of Infrastructure Domain
Support Knowledge with effective communication Skills
