Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer to lead systems operations, increase system efficiencies, ensure highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability, and work with technical teams and vendors for problem resolution.

Job Responsibility:

Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Handle quality control reviews and validation activities on the compliance controls

Requirements:

4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of experience in security domain and SDLC Governance knowledge
Knowledge of security requirements in SDLC phases
Strong ethics and understanding of ethics in business and information security
Proficient English language written and oral communication skills
Working knowledge of Java and .NET programming language to an extent of developing internet facing applications
Application threat modeling knowledge and experience
Knowledge of OWASP tools and methodologies
Expert in web application vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (manual and automated)
Ability to perform manual and automated code reviews
Command over security testing tools and software like AppScan, checkmax, WebInspect, CoreImpact etc
Ability to present findings to technical staff and executives
Ability to complete tasks and deliver professionally written reports for business units
Knowledgeable with application security controls and working experience on execution of Compliance controls

Nice to have:

Working knowledge of Java and .NET programming language to an extent of developing internet facing applications
Application threat modeling knowledge and experience
Command over security testing tools and software like AppScan, checkmax, WebInspect, CoreImpact etc
Possess current security certifications
