This role will support the platform for Observability & Reliability Engineering enabling production support teams of multiple critical applications.

Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of experience in Production Support, with focus on Java based applications
2+ years of experience troubleshooting environments across the entire ecosystem (i.e. applications to infrastructure), identifying root cause, fixing, and documenting problems, and implementing preventive measures
2+ years of experience with scripting skills (e.g., Shell, Python, Groovy)
2+ years of experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs

Prior experience in an SRE role or similar capacity with strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with automating manual tasks
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clearly articulate technical concepts
Ability to quickly acquire system/domain knowledge and become a platform SME
Knowledge of ServiceNow, OS (Windows/Unix), DBs (SQL/Oracle), deployment tools (UCD/Harness), load-balancing solutions (AVI/AG/F5), network communications, cloud systems (PCF, OCP, Azure, GCP) and other technologies such as Tomcat/Kafka/MQ/FTP/NDM
Good understanding and hands-on experience with different monitoring/logging tools and responding to alerts to take the necessary actions to fix the issue
1+ years of Banking experience
Experience in Wire Payments flow, and ACH payment processing
