Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
  • Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
  • Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
  • Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
  • Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
  • Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Strong experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident management, especially in technology or digital banking environments
  • Hands-on ability to create, maintain, and refresh BIAs, business continuity plans, and recovery strategies
  • Proven experience planning and running tabletop or functional resiliency exercises, including after-action reviews
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple teams (application, engineering, operations, risk) during time‑critical situations
  • Strong skills in tracking issues, driving remediation, and ensuring corrective actions close on time with evidence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience providing clear updates to leadership and stakeholders
  • Experience managing resiliency systems of record, documentation, and audit-ready evidence
  • Familiarity with observability and incident tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, or Glassbox
  • Experience working with internal audit, risk management, or regulatory reviews (preferred)
  • Willingness to support after-hours exercises and incident response to meet regional and business needs
