Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Systems Integration & Test Engineer to lead planning, execution, troubleshooting, and verification activities for complex hardware‑software systems. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands‑on integration experience, and the ability to collaborate closely with engineering, program, and operations teams. The engineer will support full lifecycle integration, validation, and sell‑off of advanced system capabilities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead integration and test planning/execution, ensuring all verification and validation activities meet defined requirements
  • Conduct system performance assessments and validation tests to confirm compliance with specifications
  • Execute integration plans and testing tasks according to defined milestones and schedules
  • Integrate, configure, and test system software builds for use in integration, V&V, and system‑level test events
  • Partner with cross‑program stakeholders to: Develop test approaches
  • Confirm test setup readiness
  • Support peer reviews, gate reviews, and test readiness reviews
  • Ensure that all testing activities follow established engineering procedures, including compliance with DoD technology release and export‑control policies
  • Support both local and non‑local travel requirements, including activities related to Foreign Military Sales (FMS) test events (approx. 10% travel)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant engineering experience
  • Experience with one or more programming/scripting environments: MATLAB
  • Python
  • Perl
  • C/C++
  • Linux and/or Unix environments
  • Experience in one or more of the following: Systems engineering
  • System integration
  • Networking
  • Verification and validation
  • Test execution
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software integration
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑disciplinary environment
  • Active Secret clearance required prior to start

Nice to have:

  • Experience operating test equipment and performing software/hardware installations
  • Hands‑on experience with integration or regression testing
  • Relevant certifications such as: CompTIA Network+
