In year 2 of a 7-year contract, this program provides SETA (Systems Engineering Technical Advisor) & SE&I (Systems Engineering & Integration) services to an important Intelligence Community (IC) customer with a focus on critical, space domain missions and supporting IT infrastructure. The contract support is part of the customer core team focused on all aspects of the systems engineering life cycle beginning with conops development, where we work directly with users, potentially going into harm's way, who will be dependent on these systems. We then capture their requirements and work closely with developers to deliver these essential capabilities. We get involved with setting up and running tests to ensure these cutting-edge capabilities will meet the stringent requirements and then we support transition to operations. Once in operations, our teams work closely with the users to make sure critical operations are successful, providing important information to support critical decisions by policy makers. The program also supports client acquisition strategy, future technology development and modernization efforts.
Job Responsibility
Work closely with the government customer, the development and O&M contractors and both internal and external users to ensure new capabilities meet user requirements and are successfully transitioned into operations
Provide end-to-end understanding of the system and contribute to the development of new capabilities by helping to properly configure and test the system for successful operations
Use expertise to help mission partners achieve the right solutions when new capabilities and/or configurations are necessary
Perform increasingly complex tasks in an acquisition support role
Engage in projects varying from user engagement & training to leading end-to-end testing to prove a concept or confirm a new enhancement
Span the systems engineering life cycle from initial concept of operations discussions with users, through capability development and deployment into operations
Capture the baseline architecture of our systems
Transition many products and processes into customer provided digital engineering ecosystem
