Job Description:

BAE Systems is looking for experienced Systems Engineers to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver engineering services for network infrastructure
Deliver engineering services for sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services, virtualized applications, and storage systems
Deliver Enterprise Computing Engineering services including modern application technology like containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow
Deliver Network infrastructure engineering services comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery
Potentially travel, CONUS and OCONUS, throughout a calendar year

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in computer science are preferred with six (6) year’s relevant experience and education
Infrastructure as a code language
Ansible is a must have
Experience working with System Automation
Experience working with Linux
Eclipse developmental duties
Git Hub
Dev Ops
Java
Python
Candidate should have experience in security review of applications and infrastructure
4+ Years experience participating in agile activities
Researches new technologies in object oriented programming
Experience in Cloud based services
Works well in a engineering team environment with other teammates who varied skills levels
Ability to mentor others
Must be able to obtain Top Secret/SCI Polygraph clearance
U.S. Person Required
U.S. Citizenship Required

Nice to have:

Experience with infrastructure automation technologies like Docker, Vagrant, etc.
Experience with build automation technologies like Maven, Jenkins, etc.
Experience with building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, etc.
Experience with scripting languages like Perl, Shell, etc.
