As a member of our Site Reliability Engineering team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting a suite of modern software development tools that empower our engineering teams to build, test, and deploy software efficiently and securely. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our development infrastructure. This role is pivotal in ensuring the platforms’ reliability, scalability, and usability for infrastructure-wide development experience.
Job Responsibility:
Managing and supporting a suite of modern software development tools that empower our engineering teams to build, test, and deploy software efficiently and securely
Ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our development infrastructure
Ensuring the platforms’ reliability, scalability, and usability for infrastructure-wide development experience
Requirements:
6-8+ years of experience in system engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure support
4-5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code tools
Strong hands-on experience with GitHub ecosystem and CI/CD tools
Proficiency with both Windows and Linux operating systems
Familiarity with security practices including certificate management and patching
Solid understanding of networking, authentication, and access control
Excellent troubleshooting, scripting, and automation skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)
Strong communication and documentation abilities
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and processes (Agile, Kanban)
Ability to support and mentor users, including running office hours and providing technical guidance
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, platform governance, and automation best practices
Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience coaching and mentoring junior team members
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, or related field, or an additional 5+ years of relevant experience
Certifications in AWS, Azure, or other cloud technologies
Experience with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
Exposure to containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience working in 5,000+ users’ environment
Experience in Change Control process (Remedy/Helix)
Comfort level with the Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo)
Knowledge of security standards, compliance, and Role Based Access Control (RBAC) in automation environments
