We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Build and Recovery Specialist to manage complex system build, recovery, and deployment processes across enterprise environments. This role requires deep expertise in UNIX/Linux administration, scripting, application sequencing, and integrated system operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of build automation, troubleshooting, and vendor-specific startup processes, along with proficiency in multiple programming languages and enterprise tools.
Job Responsibility:
Execute system build and recovery processes across UNIX/Linux platforms (AIX, HP-UX, RHEL)
Ensure compliance with vendor sequencing requirements and OV-SD processes
Manage RPM and InstallAnywhere-based installations and configurations
Develop and maintain scripts using Perl, Korn shell, and UNIX programming for build automation
Utilize tools like lsof, netstat, ps, and cksum for process management and validation
Implement ServiceGuard scripts for high availability and failover sequencing
Validate startup sequences for vendor applications (WESB, ERPLN, etc.)
Support MQSeries operations using runmqsc commands
Manage integrated applications such as AI, PDM, CAPP, ERPLN, and DCAC/MRM CMES data flow processes
Work extensively with Java, Java EE, Spring/Spring Security, Hibernate, JSF, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL
Support web technologies including HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, and frameworks like PCF Cloud
Administer JBoss, Tomcat, and related middleware components
Utilize AutoSys (JIL), AutoSys WAG for job scheduling and automation
Work with ClearCase, ALM, Micro Focus Unified Testing, and configuration tools
Perform code analysis using Coverity and debugging tools like Charles Proxy
Maintain detailed documentation of build processes, scripts, and application dependencies
Act as a liaison between SI/SA teams and user communities for integrated application support
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for cross-functional teams
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Higher Degree
8+ years of experience in UNIX/Linux administration and system build/recovery processes
Strong scripting and automation skills (Perl, Korn shell)
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
In-depth knowledge of Perl, Korn shell, UNIX programming, and administration
Familiarity with OV-SD, RPM, InstallAnywhere, and vendor sequencing requirements
Expertise in UNIX/Linux commands (lsof, netstat, ps, cksum) across AIX, HP-UX, and Linux
Strong experience with MQSeries, ServiceGuard, and high-availability scripting
Proficiency in Java, Java EE, Spring, Hibernate, JSF, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, and web technologies
Experience with AutoSys, ClearCase, ALM, and enterprise configuration tools
Knowledge of integrated applications (AI, PDM, CAPP, ERPLN) and DCAC/MRM CMES processes
Valid Passport
ITAR compliance

Experience with enterprise middleware (JBoss, Tomcat) and cloud platforms (PCF)
Familiarity with engineering processes and integrated application workflows
