We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware. In this role, you will manage and optimize critical technology infrastructure, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability across systems and applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and leadership skills to oversee enterprise environments and support organizational goals.
Job Responsibility:
Design, implement, and maintain servers, storage solutions, virtualization platforms, and network systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Lead the deployment and management of key technology infrastructure, aligning systems with business objectives and operational needs
Monitor and enhance enterprise systems to prioritize resilience, business continuity, and collaboration among team members
Oversee the health, performance, and lifecycle planning of infrastructure, including budgeting for servers, cloud solutions, and network resources
Collaborate with application owners to manage and improve core firm applications such as document management, billing systems, and integrations
Supervise and mentor system administration staff, delegating tasks, ensuring system documentation, and driving improvements
Administer and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity services to keep systems secure and supported
Develop and implement robust backup, disaster recovery, and restore procedures, conducting regular tests with relevant stakeholders
Refine and enforce infrastructure and application standards, including change management, monitoring processes, and incident response protocols
Act as an escalation point for complex system or application issues, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to resolve challenges
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent relevant experience
At least five years of direct systems administration experience, with expertise in managing enterprise environments
Proficiency in administering servers, virtualization platforms, networking technologies, and enterprise applications such as Exchange and Office365
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities to balance system stability and user needs
Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and daily operational tasks in a dynamic setting
Prior experience leading and mentoring technical teams, fostering growth and cross-training initiatives
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Time and Billing systems and IntApp environments is preferred
