We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator with strong experience in Microsoft Azure to support, maintain, and enhance our cloud and on‑prem infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, optimizing systems for performance and security, and working cross‑functionally with IT, security, and engineering teams. You will play a key role in managing core infrastructure, implementing cloud solutions, improving system reliability, and ensuring the organization’s technology environment remains secure, scalable, and efficient.
Job Responsibility:
Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft Azure environments—including virtual machines, storage, networking, identity, and security components
Lead system administration efforts for Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related infrastructure services
Manage Azure infrastructure as code, automation scripts, and cloud deployments using tools like PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM/Bicep
Monitor system performance, availability, and security, implementing improvements as needed
Support identity and access management, including Azure AD, MFA, conditional access, and security hardening
Oversee patching, updates, server lifecycle management, and disaster recovery strategies
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across servers, cloud resources, networking, and applications
Collaborate with security teams to implement best practices around RBAC, logging, monitoring, and compliance requirements
Maintain documentation, runbooks, diagrams, and architectural standards
Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior system administrators and support staff
Requirements:
5+ years of experience as a System Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role
Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, networking, identity, governance, automation)
Solid knowledge of Windows Server environments, AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and general enterprise infrastructure
Strong scripting and automation experience with PowerShell
Experience managing backups, patching, monitoring tools, and DR/BCP planning
Ability to troubleshoot complex system, cloud, and network issues
Strong understanding of security best practices across cloud and on‑prem environments
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally and document solutions clearly
Nice to have:
Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Intune, or Endpoint Manager
Familiarity with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
Knowledge of VMware, Hyper‑V, or other virtualization platforms
Experience with SIEM tools, Azure Monitor, or Log Analytics
Azure certifications (AZ‑104, AZ‑303/305, AZ‑500, etc.) are a plus
