Job Description:

ABL Group is seeking a Senior Surveyor (Energy) to join our growing team in Dubai. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced marine professional to contribute to high-profile offshore projects and support the continued success of our Energy business line.

Job Responsibility:

  • Marine surveys: vessel suitability, condition, and marine warranty (towage, load-in/load-out, stowage, lashing, securing)
  • Operational support: attend rig moves, marine assurance, and offshore operations
  • Documentation: prepare tenders, proposals, and deliver accurate reports
  • Client engagement: liaise with clients to ensure smooth project execution
  • Coordination: oversee contractors and manage project documentation
  • Business development: promote ABL Group’s consulting services and contribute to marketing initiatives
  • QHSE compliance: uphold quality, health, safety, and environmental standards

Requirements:

  • Master Mariner or Chief Officer (STCW II/2)
  • 5+ years’ marine/offshore industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards
  • Excellent analytical, operational, and communication skills
  • Flexibility to travel offshore and work across time zones
  • Legal right to live and work in Dubai, UAE
  • Flexibility for offshore assignments and varied working hours

Nice to have:

  • Shore-based marine operations experience
  • Familiarity with rig moves and jack-up operations
  • Experience in marine warranty surveys, vessel inspections, and audits
