Senior Surveyor

• Conducting field survey activities including topographic, construction layout, end-of-month reporting, and as-built surveys in line with project schedules, specifications, and quality standards
• Managing the inventory, maintenance, and calibration of surveying equipment to ensure reliability and accuracy on-site
• Delivering all surveying requirements in compliance with HSEQ standards and project timelines
• Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to identify design changes, assess impacts, and provide accurate measurements and advice to the site team
• Identifying and implementing innovative and cost-effective surveying solutions
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop effective survey plans that meet project needs
• Lead and mentoring a team of Surveyors, including junior and graduate surveyors to support professional development and team performance
• Analysing survey data to produce accurate maps, models, and reports for project planning and decision-making
• Preparing and reviewing project-specific SWMS and supporting a culture of safe work practices
• Participating in and contributing to HSEQ reporting and continuous improvement initiatives

• Tertiary study in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering or related field Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma (preferred)
• Remote Pilots Licence (RePL) and Aviation Radio Operators Certificate (AROC) (desirable)
• Relevant experience within the Civil and Infrastructure industry
• Proficiency in surveying software and equipment, including Total Stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, and data processing software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
• MUST hold valid Australian Working Rights
