Due to continued growth in Cork and across Munster, we are recruiting high-calibre experienced surveyors (minimum 5 years’ experience) to support a strong pipeline of infrastructure, manufacturing, construction, and industrial projects. These roles will suit individuals who: Are technically strong in field survey delivery; Can operate independently or lead small teams; Want exposure to modern survey technologies and complex projects; Are looking for progression into senior / lead surveyor positions
Job Responsibility:
Delivery of topographical, control, and construction surveys across multiple project types
Establishment and verification of control networks (GNSS, total station, levelling)
Execution of setting out and as-built surveys
Operation of modern equipment including: Total Stations (Trimble / Leica), GNSS systems, Laser scanning (RTC360 / ScanStation / SX series), UAV (where applicable)
Accurate capture and recording of survey data in line with project specifications
Processing and QA of survey data using software such as: AutoCAD / Civil 3D, Trimble Business Centre, StarNet, Cyclone / Recap Pro / NavisWorks
Liaising with site teams, contractors, and clients
Supporting or leading survey teams on site
Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and company standards
Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in surveying / geospatial engineering
Degree or equivalent in Surveying, Geomatics, Engineering or related discipline (preferred)
Strong understanding of: Control networks, traversing, and adjustments
Construction and infrastructure survey workflows
Experience working on live construction sites
Competent in survey software advantageous
Full clean Irish/EU driving licence
Safe Pass (or willingness to obtain)
Right to work in Ireland
Senior candidates should also demonstrate: Experience leading teams or managing projects
Strong client-facing communication skills
Ability to drive productivity and quality on site
