About the Role: An opportunity for a Senior Surveyor to take a key leadership position within a Land team that is expanding nationally. This role blends hands on technical delivery with client engagement and mentoring. You’ll lead complex projects, strengthen relationships and play a key part in growing capability across both land development and renewable energy generation projects.
Job Responsibility:
Lead land development and civil infrastructure projects from concept through to completion, managing quality, programme and budget
Deliver surveying inputs for renewable energy projects including wind and solar
Build and maintain trusted client relationships as a credible technical advisor
Mentor and develop junior surveyors, lifting internal capability
Provide technical verification, peer review, and quality assurance
Contribute to service line growth through client relationships, work-winning support, and strategic input
Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate survey inputs across broader projects
Requirements:
Licensed Cadastral Surveyor with strong post-licensing experience
Proven capability delivering complex cadastral and land development projects
Confident client-facing communicator with commercial awareness
Strong understanding of NZ cadastral legislation, LINZ processes, and regulatory frameworks
Experience mentoring others and contributing to team leadership
Interest in service line leadership, business growth, and long-term ownership
