About the Company: Lead and grow the Surveying, Civil and Land Development service line within a respected New Zealand engineering consultancy known for its trusted advisor approach and strong client relationships across a broad range of sectors. This role suits a senior to principal surveyor ready to step into leadership, supported by the wider business with a clear pathway to equity and shareholding. About the Role: An opportunity for a Senior Surveyor to take a key leadership position within a Land team that is expanding nationally. This role blends hands on technical delivery with client engagement and mentoring. You’ll lead complex projects, strengthen relationships and play a key part in growing capability across both land development and renewable energy generation projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead land development and civil infrastructure projects from concept through to completion, managing quality, programme and budget
  • Deliver surveying inputs for renewable energy projects including wind and solar
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships as a credible technical advisor
  • Mentor and develop junior surveyors, lifting internal capability
  • Provide technical verification, peer review, and quality assurance
  • Contribute to service line growth through client relationships, work-winning support, and strategic input
  • Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate survey inputs across broader projects
