We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dedicated, and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our Supported Living service in Spalding. This role is ideal for someone who leads by example, champions person‑centred care, and thrives in a dynamic, rewarding environment.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver person‑centred support to people with disabilities and those with profound and complex needs
Assist with daily tasks including medication rounds, cooking, cleaning, paperwork, and audits
Provide emotional and practical support
Encourage and support individuals to access community facilities and social groups
Build strong, trusting relationships that promote independence and enhance quality of life
Empower individuals to learn new skills, pursue hobbies, and achieve personal goals
Maintain accurate documentation in line with care plans
Lead by example to deliver high‑quality support
Assist the Team Leader with day‑to‑day running of shifts
Support colleagues in maintaining standards, completing audits, and delivering exceptional care
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year’s experience as a Senior Support Worker supporting individuals with complex mental health needs
A full UK manual driving licence and your own vehicle (essential due to remote location)
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
Strong multi‑tasking, time‑management, and organisational skills
Competence in IT and administrative tasks
A positive, proactive “can‑do” attitude
Excellent communication skills
Compassion, professionalism, and a genuine passion for supporting others
Confidence working independently and as part of a team
The ability to manage challenging behaviour and conflict
Nice to have:
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
