Job Description:

Birchwood House is a specialist service providing support to people living with mental health conditions, such as personality disorder, bipolar disorder, an anxiety disorder, schizophrenia, depression, mood affective disorder, self-harm behaviour, substance misuse backgrounds, etc. At Birchwood House we are committed to support eight people with Mental Health needs by providing professional and personalised care to meet the unique needs of each person we support.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing a team of Support Workers
  • Providing high standards of care for the people we support, in line with care and support plans
  • Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
  • Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
  • Liaise with health professionals and their families
  • Complete supervisions and audits
  • To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home

Requirements:

  • Must be over the age of 18
  • Experience in managing a team of Support Workers
  • Experience in providing care in line with care and support plans
  • Experience in reporting, recording, and maintaining records
  • Experience in liaising with health professionals and families
  • Experience in completing supervisions and audits
