We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dedicated, and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our Supported Living service in Spalding. Job Responsibility

  • Deliver person-centred support to people with disabilities and those with profound and complex needs
  • Assist with daily tasks including medication rounds, cooking, cleaning, paperwork, and audits
  • Provide emotional and practical support
  • Encourage and support individuals to access community facilities and social groups
  • Build strong, trusting relationships that promote independence and enhance quality of life
  • Empower individuals to learn new skills, pursue hobbies, and achieve personal goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with care plans
  • Lead by example to deliver high-quality support
  • Assist the Team Leader with day-to-day running of shifts
  • Support colleagues in maintaining standards, completing audits, and delivering exceptional care

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year's experience as a Senior Support Worker supporting individuals with complex mental health needs
  • A full UK manual driving licence and your own vehicle (essential due to remote location)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
  • Strong multi-tasking, time-management, and organisational skills
  • Competence in IT and administrative tasks
  • A positive, proactive can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Compassion, professionalism, and a genuine passion for supporting others
  • Confidence working independently and as part of a team
  • The ability to manage challenging behaviour and conflict
