Requirements

Experience in care, particularly with learning disabilities and mental health
Proficient in IT
A proactive "go-getter"
Able to assist with cooking and daily living tasks
Must have experience as a Senior Support Worker/Team Leader OR minimum of 3+ years experience as a Support Worker in an adult care setting
A Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is desirable
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to working with vulnerable adults
Experience in supervising or leading a team

Job Responsibility

Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Support Workers
Promote independence, dignity, and well-being for individuals
Support individuals with daily tasks such as personal care, household duties, budgeting, and accessing community activities
Assist with the development and implementation of individual care plans
Liaise with external agencies and professionals
Take part in team meetings, supervision sessions, and provide coaching and mentoring to Support Workers

Job Responsibility

Managing a team of Support Workers
Providing high standards of care for the people we support, in line with care and support plans
Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
Liaise with health professionals and their families
Complete supervisions and audits
To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home
