Job Description:

Play a vital role in establishing a high standard of care at a brand-new residential care home for adults with Acquired Brain Injuries and Neurological Conditions. Oversee day-to-day care delivery, support and mentor a team, and ensure personalized care that helps individuals live independently.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead by example, delivering hands-on support to residents
  • Supervise and mentor a team of Support Workers
  • Take responsibility for assessing and creating care plans
  • Ensure compliance with care standards and regulations
  • Develop and implement activities that support residents’ personal development
  • Coordinate care needs, including assisting with healthcare appointments, administering medication, and providing personal care
  • Maintain effective communication with residents, their families, and healthcare teams

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Senior Support Worker
  • Leadership experience
  • Ability to deliver hands-on support
  • Ability to supervise and mentor a team
  • Ability to assess and create care plans
  • Knowledge of care standards and regulations
  • Ability to develop and implement activities
  • Ability to coordinate care needs
  • Ability to administer medication
  • Ability to provide personal care
  • Effective communication skills
  • Must be over the age of 18
