Play a vital role in establishing a high standard of care at a brand-new residential care home for adults with Acquired Brain Injuries and Neurological Conditions. Oversee day-to-day care delivery, support and mentor a team, and ensure personalized care that helps individuals live independently.
Job Responsibility:
Lead by example, delivering hands-on support to residents
Supervise and mentor a team of Support Workers
Take responsibility for assessing and creating care plans
Ensure compliance with care standards and regulations
Develop and implement activities that support residents’ personal development
Coordinate care needs, including assisting with healthcare appointments, administering medication, and providing personal care
Maintain effective communication with residents, their families, and healthcare teams
Requirements:
Experience as a Senior Support Worker
Leadership experience
Ability to deliver hands-on support
Ability to supervise and mentor a team
Ability to assess and create care plans
Knowledge of care standards and regulations
Ability to develop and implement activities
Ability to coordinate care needs
Ability to administer medication
Ability to provide personal care
Effective communication skills
Must be over the age of 18
