Job Responsibility:
Managing some day-to-day areas of operations including risk assessments, audits, and compliance with health and safety
Supervise, mentor, and develop Support Workers, undertaking supervisions
Ensure our Person-Centred Support and Enablement model of care is embedded throughout the service
Liaise with social workers, families, and external agencies to achieve the best outcomes for the people we support
Support with on-call duties
Deliver care and support to cover when required, this includes supporting with Personal care and hygiene, Meal preparation and serving, Medication prompts and administration, Catheter care, Companionship and emotional support
Requirements:
SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care – or willing to work towards this qualification
Friendly, caring, and compassionate
Organised, responsible, and reliable
Excellent communicators in spoken and written English
Committed to delivering high standards of care
Able to work on a rota basis, including alternate weekends
Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car
Must be a female candidate under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010
Must live in or be able to travel within Falkirk, Braes, Denny, Grangemouth, Bo’ness
PVG check will be required
