Job Description:

Senior Support Worker role at Oak House and Acorns, part of Hollybank Trust, a small community home for 6 Adults with a range of complex physical and learning disabilities, in Worsborough just outside the centre of Barnsley. The team support the Adults with all aspects of their lives, following their individualised care plans and delivering person centred care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the Adults with all aspects of their lives, including their physical, social and emotional needs
  • Follow individualised care plans and delivering person centred care
  • Support the Adults to live enriched lives through a range of in house and external activities
  • Work alongside Hollybank’s in-house therapies team

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of UK based work experience in any sector
  • The confidence to challenge the norm and try new things
  • Being curious by asking questions and showing an interest in training and development opportunities
  • Treating people with kindness, dignity, and respecting boundaries
  • Bringing your best self to work, being happy and positive in the way you work
  • Enhanced DBS check and reference checks in line with Recruitment & Selection policy
