We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of Senior Support Worker to join our team here at iBC Healthcare at one of our Residential service. Role: Senior Support Worker Pay Rate: £13.16 Per Hour Shifts: Days Full time: 36 hours per week Duties Include To support people with disabilities, including individuals with profound and complex needs, using person-centred approaches to enable people to achieve positive outcomes as defined in their support plan. Basic daily duties include medication administration, cooking, cleaning, and paperwork/Audits. To Provide emotional and practical support for the people you support and the Team To support the people in our care to access community facilities and be included in community groups. To build a robust relationship with the people in our care to promote independence and improve quality of life. To Empower the people in our care to learn new skills or pursue hobbies and interests. Accurately report, record, and maintain records as required and working to care plans. Completing and supporting with audits and medication rounds To support the Team Leader with the daily running of the shift Person Specifications Minimum of 1 years’ experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs. A full UK Manual driving licence is Desirable. An NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable. The ability to multi-task. Good time management, organization, attention to detail and flexibility. IT literate. A positive ‘can do’ attitude. Good Communication Skills. You must have a compassionate, caring, positive personality. Possess a genuine passion for making a real difference in people’s lives. Able to manage challenging behaviour and conflict.
