Job Description:

Join ARC HD Services – Where Every Young Life Matters. ARC HD Services Ltd, part of Community Integrated Care, provides specialist residential and 1:1 support for young people aged 9–18 facing complex social, emotional, and mental health challenges, including ASD, ADHD, PTSD, and trauma-related behaviours. We run four small, nurturing homes—each supporting up to three young people in a warm, homely environment tailored to individual needs. Every child has their own private space, plus shared areas for connection and community.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be a role model and mentor for young people in our care
  • Support and guide your team, including two on-call duties per week
  • Carry out audits (medication, observation sheets, keywork files) to keep everything running smoothly
  • Work closely with the Registered Manager and attend regular supervision meetings
  • Ensure safeguarding and compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years’ experience working with children with emotional/mental health needs
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • A team player who’s flexible, adaptable, and self-motivated
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Full UK driving licence for manual vehicles and access to your own car
