The Senior Supply Planner supports the supply planning activities for the business unit; including consolidating the proposed buy plans, and Inventory Plan to the 18-month horizon as part of the Integrated Business planning cycle, and process. This role will work closely with Inventory Planning; Production Planning and Logistics teams, ensure buy process activities are executed on time and to develop and execute aligned Supply Plans, that ensure smooth supply. The role will continue to push forward reporting and business tools; and partner in process development and improvement.
Job Responsibility:
Supports receipts and consolidation of inventory and buy plans
Partners with Inventory planning and Production planning on creation and execution of integrated, aligned, stable, and agile supply plans to efficiently meet the fill rates, productivity and service level target
Engages with lead-times across the network to support product launches, and effectively communicate and resolves issues with Merch, Sales, and Planning teams
Collaborates with Sourcing, Demand and Inventory teams to develop/adjust inputs for production planning and material management flow
Collaborate with Inventory Planning on flow strategy, inbound phasing, and rescheduling needs across the Dc network to meet defined KPI’s and achieve brand revenue plan
Validates and confirms buy plan by working with the sourcing, logistics and inventory planning teams
Ensures PO confirmation on time by working with the sourcing, logistics and inventory planning teams
Support planning teams in PO creation and SAP system integrity
Ensures deliverables are on time and accurate in systems
Work with Global Planning teams to develop and implement Supply Planning tools and processes
Assist in creation of automated reports to drive business decisions and reviews of performance, opportunity and risk
Support regional planning needs, across the European network
Performs ad hoc analysis other duties as required/assigned by manager.
Requirements:
4-year bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
2+ years experience in sourcing, procurement or supply chain planning (footwear preferred)
Strong MS Excel skills: demonstrated ability to quickly manipulate large raw data sets to produce reporting that is intuitive and easy to read/understand, advanced formulas and experience with pivot tables required
PowerBi or similar reporting experience
and familiarity with forecasting systems and tools
Attention to detail and accuracy on multiple projects under time pressure
Highly analytical and extremely self-motivated with critical thinking mindset
Ability to quickly adapt in a highly collaborative environment and a team player.
