As our new Senior Supply Chain Manager, reporting to our Regional Category Director – Directs, you’ll recommend and implement supply strategies for assigned Direct categories whilst coaching a team of 1-2 Supply Chain Analysts. You’ll be responsible for timely and cost competitive procurement of materials and services that are critical to the success of our restaurants!
Job Responsibility:
Recommend and implement supply strategies for assigned Direct categories
Coach a team of 1-2 Supply Chain Analysts
Responsible for timely and cost competitive procurement of materials and services
Continually develop industry knowledge of products in your portfolio
Develop and foster strong business relationships with key suppliers
Regularly review supplier performance, ensuring service standards are met
Work as part of a cross functional team on New Product Development or other related business initiatives
Provide effective, insights led, information on price levels and adjustments to key stakeholders
Understand and track key commodities and other cost drivers
Continually, investigate and recommend alternative sources and methods of supply to maximise profitability and effectiveness
Implementation of rigorous analysis/strategic thought on key items to deliver long-term strategic competitive advantage to KFC
Maintain KFC Supply Chain as a world-class professional function
Requirements:
Tertiary degree level qualification in a relevant field
High level analytical problem-solving and commercial acumen
Experience coaching and managing workflow/priorities for direct reports
Commercial Supply Chain Management experience within a consumer product business
Experience with food retail and/or multi-outlet industry preferred
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build strong business relationships with suppliers, stores, internal departments
Demonstrated track record of strong negotiating performance
High work ethic – with a 'can do' attitude
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects
