Collaborate closely with Engineering and Purchasing teams to identify cost reduction opportunities in product design and manufacturing processes, and support sustainable cost improvement across the supply base through Lean methodologies
Support fast-paced and rapidly evolving new energy vehicle (NEV) programs and ensure robust supplier readiness for new product launches
Build and maintain a high-performing, competitive, environmentally friendly, and sustainable supply chain aligned with BorgWarner’s quality and sustainability objectives
Requirements:
Master's degree preferred
Bachelor's degree or above from a key university
Engineering background required, preferably in Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in automotive drivetrain systems
Experience in transmission, engine, axle, driveline, or electric drive systems is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of supplier quality management tools and processes, including APQP, PPAP, change management, warranty/claim handling, 8D problem solving, VDA 6.3 process audits, IATF 16949, CQI-9 or other special process audits
Proficient in Six Sigma, Red X problem-solving methodologies, and the application of statistical methods for data-driven decision-making
