Job Description

Service Stream’s Utilities division are currently seeking 2 Senior Supervisors to join our growing company. The Senior Supervisor provides strategic, technical and operational leadership to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient delivery of water network maintenance services. The role leads Field Supervisors and oversees multiple field teams, coordinates complex maintenance programs and monitors KPI performance, ensures compliance with applicable regulatory, contractual and safety requirements.

Job Responsibility

  • Monitor, manage and coordinate works to ensure compliance with contract KPI’s and implementing corrective actions to address non compliance
  • Maintain compliance with training matrix by coordinating the training of all staff and sub-contractors per training matrix with support from Field Supervisor
  • Lead, direct and coordinate the activities of field supervisors, field staff and sub contractors
  • Ensure Field Supervisors are accurately approving timesheets to ensure accurate capture of applicable hours against work orders, indirects, allowances
  • Support Field Supervisors in setting and managing performance, safety and conduct expectations
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and of a high quality consistent with relevant WHS policies, procedures & retail standards, with proper risk assessments, permits and environmental controls in place
  • Liaise with the client and its customers to appropriately manage the client’s network, plant and community expectations
  • Ensure Field Supervisors are compliant with Public Authority requirements for provision of services to the network and working in public areas

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Previous water industry experience (desirable)
  • Previous experience managing operational performance & targets
  • Flexible approach and well developed contract management skills
  • Strong client focus and ability to negotiate with the client
  • Industry Accepted Accreditation is an advantage
  • Understand materials/component identification and supply chain flows across all technologies
  • Successful applicants must obtain and maintain a satisfactory critical infrastructure background check in accordance with AusCheck requirements (mandatory)
