As a Senior Subject Matter Expert (Sr SME), your role is integral to the organization's success, requiring you to leverage your extensive knowledge and experience to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements. You play a crucial role in driving technological advancements and providing subject matter expertise in the SAP Finance and R2R - Record to Report area.

Job Responsibility

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and challenges
  • Design, review, and architect solutions that address identified needs within IKEA's technology-process-delivery ecosystem
  • Provide SAP Finance functional and technical guidance to development teams
  • Troubleshoot, analyze defects, and offer preventive actions for potential issues
  • Analyze current landscape, goals, and challenges to suggest continuous improvement and innovation
  • Anticipate future hurdles and develop mitigation strategies
  • Stay updated on relevant technologies
  • Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance Record-to-Report solutions
  • Develop a deep understanding of IKEA's business processes
  • Ensure successful technology implementation with acceptability across all hierarchies
  • Work as an individual contributor, leveraging hands-on expertise to deliver impactful results
  • Document and optimize business processes

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in R2R – Record to Report, specialized in the Finance & Controlling area
  • Deep functional understanding of SAP Finance, both in design and configuration
  • Track record of working in a similar role and delivering impactful results
  • Experience in reviewing and evaluating vendor solutions
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong Finance background with experience in core domain as auditor, accountant or finance/ controlling consultant is a must have
  • Good stakeholder engagement skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in order to present thoughts and influence effectively
  • Proficiency in designing and architecting solutions, considering scalability, performance, and security aspects
  • Proficiency in integration technologies, such as APIs, middleware, and messaging systems
  • Application of security principles and best practices in solution design
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ensuring solutions adhere to regulatory compliance and governance standards
