We are seeking a motivated Senior Subcontracts Specialist to join our E-7 business division to support the E-7 program.
Job Responsibility
Lead supply chain execution within the Development program and sit on the Block leadership team
Develop sourcing strategies and approaches to market for defence and aviation type goods and services
Plan, draft, execute and manage a range of contracts types of varying complexities
Engage with internal and external stakeholders
Build and maintain core relationships with key The Boeing Company focals
Maintain a relationship with suppliers and drive collaboration to ensure on time performance and compliance
Participate in risk identification, mitigation planning and progress and status reporting
Ensure compliance with supply chain management and program corporate governance policies and procedures
Requirements
Five (5) to eight (8) years' or more work experience in contracts management with prior experience in an engineering or project delivery organization being highly desirable
Relevant Bachelor's degree in law, commerce or business
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Good working knowledge of the responsibilities and tasks performed in contracting and their interdependencies with other project activities (for example, engineering, logistics, finance)
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements and applicants with current Australian defence clearances are highly desirable
