Job Description

Reporting to the Team Lead Format Development, Testing & Content Experimentation, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of fashion storytelling on Zalando’s Product Detail Pages (PDP) and T3 teasers, bringing together style expertise and innovation. Working closely with content strategists and art directors, you’ll help us explore and optimise new content formats that drive customer engagement and conversion. You'll bring cultural sharpness, trend sensitivity, and an experimental mindset to the table. Your curiosity and initiative will be crucial as we look to incorporate a digital styling approach into future AI driven PDP productions.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver best in class styling on all content production formats within the scope of your team
  • Support Zalando in speaking more inspirationally to customers and bring our ambitious strategic consumer and brand positioning objectives to life
  • Support your team’s drive in testing different content formats by embracing new styling possibilities, from locally relevant content to the fast integration of new trends
  • Contribute to the testing, and optimisation of processes for a future digital styling process for PDP formats as part of our AI Roadmap for PDP
  • Collaborate with the Creative Partner Network team and support our external partners with the roll out of newly confirmed production formats from a styling perspective
  • Provide ongoing feedback and performance insights to refine content execution processes

Requirements

  • Degree in fashion or similar
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in styling, working in a content production environment, agency, or relevant field in a freelance capacity
  • Strong interest in fashion, communication, and campaign strategy
  • Innovator with a solid future-forward outlook, digitally fluent, fashion-curious
  • Proactive, adaptable, and calm under pressure, with a strong sense of ownership and a champion of collaboration

  • Manage and outfit daily e-commerce shoot rack. Assign looks by model and shoot day. Choreographing the sequence of looks for optimal efficiency and daily output. Reviewing with Women’s Styling Manager, AD, and Photographer prior to shooting
  • Partner with Women’s Styling Manager on the creation of studio looks supporting editorial marketing messages and overarching brand campaigns
  • Ensure all on-figure imagery showcases best fit, feels comfortable and is styled with confidence
  • Communicate to Merchant/Design team sample needs and fit issues
  • Lead and develop women’s styling team within studio by providing clear role expectations, feedback and opportunities for growth, promoting a positive, efficient and safe work environment
  • Work with AD, studio production and Women’s Styling Manager to scout new model talent and best talent to bring in weekly for e-commerce set for women. Provide fit and pertinent model feedback for AD and Sr. Styling Manager
  • Collaborate with Women’s Styling Manager to update brand styling guides as well as any necessary documentation in the styling division for men and women
